About Distorted Light

I began Distorted Light as a combination of my creative nature, with my electrical and fault-finding skills.

There are many creators of lamps and lighting in the UK, but I wanted my creations to almost have their own story. I don’t just want to take a unique, fabulous or quirky item and plonk a lamp holder with a stem on it. My creations must be the lamp, and the light must make the object alive. I want them to appeal to all tastes.

I have three categories for my designs:

Industrial/Theatrical for more robust and “heavy” creations

Themed for creations that have a particular theme as their base

For the Home which are more standardised, yet still unique
